In 2000 Tom Hume co-founded Future Platforms, a software company specialising in design and technology for the mobile Internet. Future Platforms have delivered a number of commercial casual gaming services over the past 18 months, including a portfolio of mobile games for leading UK puzzle magazine publisher Puzzler Media, and Twitchr, a casual gaming prototype commissioned by Nokia. Other FP clients include Orange, 3, the BBC and EMI Records.
Before establishing Future Platforms, Tom spent 5 years working for London digital agency Good Technology, joining in 1995 and serving as Technical Director before spinning off GT Unwired, a division of the company focused on mobile applications in 1999. Whilst at Good Technology Tom worked for a diverse client base including Lloyds TSB, Columbia Tristar, the Foreign Office and Kylie Minogue.
