Tim Harrison has been with Vodafone since 2000, and is Head of Games at Vodafone Group Services Ltd. This team leads the development of Vodafone's Global mobile gaming strategy, partner relations and commercial operations. Tim was a key architect behind the company’s groundbreaking Vodafone live! Games Arcade which launched in October 2002. This service is now active in 22 countries, and Tim continues to oversee commercial operations across Vodafone territories worldwide. During the past two years, Tim has been responsible for a number of watershed deals, including Lara Croft’s debut on mobile, and the entry of key publishers like Namco, Konami and Square Enix into Europe. Most recently, Tim has been responsible for driving the launch of the games services on Vodafone live! with 3G. Tim has a wealth of experience in content development, interactive and traditional media. Prior to his current role, he was one of the founding team at Vizzavi Europe and during the late nineties, consulted for a number of Internet ventures, in both the entertainment and commercial space. He has also worked as a lifestyle journalist, editor and broadcaster with Redwood Publishing, the National Magazine Company, and the BBC to name a few. Tim lives in London with his partner and baby daughter. |
