Mr. Gwertzman directs Business Development at PopCap Games, an independent game developer that has helped define the Casual Game industry with hit games such as Bejeweled and Zuma.
Mr. Gwertzman joined PopCap Games in 2005 when it acquired Sprout Games, the game studio he co-founded in 2003 and creator of hit games such as Feeding Frenzy and Pizza Frenzy. Prior to co-founding Sprout Games, Mr. Gwertzman was president and co-founder of Escape Factory, a console game developer. Prior to that he worked at Microsoft in a variety of roles, including director of online marketing for Microsoft Asia out of Tokyo.
Mr. Gwertzman graduated from Harvard in 1995 with a degree in computer science.
