Harald Riegler, 31, started his career in the games industry as a programmer and musician in the early 90s. He worked as a programmer, musician and sound designer on numerous games during these times. In 1998, he co-founded Sproing together with his partner Gerhard Seiler, and the company started to work as an independent console and PC development studio. Harald had significant influence in establishing the company as one of the premier addresses for console and pc games development in the german speaking market, releasing several highly successful games over the last years. For some years he now serves as managing director, focusing on sales, finance and management within the studio. He is a board member of GAME, the German and Austrian game developer trade body, and an active contributor to the game development community. He is a regular speaker at industry events, and represents GAME in the EGDF, the European Game Developer Federation. In his sparetime, amongst other things, he enjoys football, dancing, snowboarding and skiing.
